Assos peninsula belongs to the Municipality of Errisos, on the north-western part of Kefalonia. Located near the famous beach of Myrtos, the charming village of Assos is easily accessible through the main road network of the island.
Assos can be reached by car or bus from Argostoli, the capital of Kefalonia, covering a distance of 40 km that will amaze travelers as the trajectory passes through some of the island's most dramatic coastal landscapes with rocky formations and tranquil sea waters, accompanied by hillsides blanketed in forests of cypress and pine trees.
